Praktik Permainan Claw Machine dalam Prespektif Hukum Islam (Studi Kasus di Toko Hans Desa Pamotan Kecamatan Pamotan Kabupaten Rembang)

Abstract

Muamalah activities are growing according to the times. Various new inventions such as the use of machines in a game with techniques that require prior transactions, for example, is the claw machine game. The game raises debates among scholars regarding the legal basis of halal or haram for a game. The purpose of this study was to find out why the people of Pamotan Village, Pamotan District, Rembang Regency were very interested in the claw machine game, how the claw machine game technique was and how Islamic law reviewed the practice of the claw machine game. This study uses field research (field research) using descriptive qualitative research methods. This study uses primary data obtained from interviews with informants who are in accordance with the research problems. While secondary data, researchers obtained from books, journals, articles and the internet, MUI Fatwas and theories related to Islamic law. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the players in the claw machine game are caused by curiosity which generates interest in practice, and the game technique must be bought coins first. Based on Islamic law, this game contains many disadvantages such as fraud and there is an element of chance to get prizes. A concept like this is the same as the concept of a gambling game. Gambling law in Islam forbids it. Therefore the practice of claw machine games is not allowed in Islam because it contains gambling.
