SOSIALISASI SERTIFIKASI HALAL DAN PEMBUATAN NOMOR IZIN BERUSAHA BAGI UMKM DI KECAMATAN KUNDURAN KABUPATEN BLORA

Abstract


An integrated community service program (PKM) was conducted in collaboration with Community Service Program (KKN) with the theme of Socialization of Halal Certification and the issuance of Business Registration Numbers (NIB) for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). This initiative aimed to assist UMKM entrepreneurs in understanding halal labeling and the procedures for obtaining a business registration number, which is a necessary step for registering halal labels on food and beverage products to be sold by UMKM entrepreneurs in the Kunduran Subdistrict. The stages of the activity included conducting a survey of all UMKM in the village, the university providing invitations to one or two UMKM owners in each village to attend the socialization at the Kunduran Subdistrict Hall. The results of the activity showed that participants gained an understanding of products that meet halal certification criteria and obtained NIBs. Following the socialization, participants expressed enthusiasm and committed to being cautious in selecting primary and additive materials for their products, as well as paying attention to the cleanliness of the production process and the production environment. Therefore, it is expected that the benefits of this PKM-KKN activity will raise awareness among UMKM to focus on the quality of the products they sell, ensuring not only halal and thoyyib (good), but also enabling them to compete in a broader market, as their products are registered with NIB and halal certified.
